Has anybody been able to install WP 6.4.3 with XAMPP recently?

    Could using port 4306 in MySQL affect WP Installation in XAMPP?

    WP installation says it can’t connect to the database despite having the correct DB credentials and leaving the password field empty as :

    /** Database password */

    define( ‘DB_PASSWORD’, ” );

    I changed the MySQL port of my XAMPP to 4306.

    Any ideas?
