Has anyone had success with using RSS feeds with WP Job Manager?

I have all the default job types, and I only have two categories.

If you look at our documentation for RSS feeds in WPJM (here: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/rss-feed-for-jobs/), the supported filters are job_categories, search_location, search_keywords, job_types, which is why you are getting all jobs with featured=true. This is equivalent to just using ?feed=job_feed.

I checked the link for https://georgiansforthearts.org/?feed=job_feed&job_categories=member/, which was showing the jobs that are categorized as Member from your site, is it showing something different for you?

This is possibly a bug, a conflict with another plugin or an issue with the theme. When you try to change the type or category is the option to delete it just not showing up?

What I would recommend is using Troubleshooting Mode in the Health Check plugin to temporarily disable all the other plugins and set a default theme for your currently signed in user to see if you still have the same issues from there. Troubleshooting allows you to have a clean WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user until you disable it or log out.

If you don’t have the same issue you can re-enable the plugins one at a time to see when the issue comes back.

I can see you’ve attached a link and mentioned it doesn’t work; however, I can see that it’s correctly listing one job, which is what I found on your opportunities page by targeting that category. Is there any reason you mentioned it’s not working (for the first example in your last reply)?

I agree the feed provided does validate. I am clueless about why the feed does not work with an rss-based newsletter. Unless there is some other syntax used, it just might be Mailchimp that doesn’t like your job feed and I need to have them look into this.

It is likely something about the feed that MailChimp doesn’t like. The RSS feed does use CDATA fields for some of the sections, MailChimp may be having issues with those. I would recommend reaching out to their support for further help from here.
