Has Anyone Successfully Integrated Co-Authors Plus into TwentySixteen Theme?

I reviewed the Co-Authors Plus documentation, but it was pretty sparse around displaying multiple authors on the front-end. My back-end works, but it’s not displaying on the front-end. I found author tags in the following files in TwentySixteen (theme):
-inc/template-tags.php
-style.css
-template-parts/biography.php

I’m planning to install the code in the documentation (the conditional) into the template-tags.php file. Just wondering if anyone in this community has successfully installed Co-Authors Plus into TwentySixteen?
