  • The author of this plugin are really irresponsible for his project.

Many times I have contacted author who has not responded to me, I have contacted the WordPress community, and due to their business policy they cannot transfer the plugin.

I wanted to continue development of this plugin but neither the author wants to transfer the authorship, nor WordPress can because the author does not want to provide it.

I made one working update on my private GitHub repo and if you need update, follow my changes until author wake up and do something smart.

Only the problem is that you need to manually download new version, disable your current plugin, overwrite via FTP and activate again.

Great! I did a comparison with your updates and everything looks good. I’ll make use of the few updates files until there is an official update (if it ever happens). Thanks ??

Why don’t you go ahead with your own plugin name?

Indeed, this is bad, since you will have problems to find users. But maybe this is the only way to overtake this project?

Nevertheless, thank you for finding out, that this plugin is not longer supported. I will implement my own code instead of using it.

I (finally) just released an update that should fix bugs.

@ivijanstefan The plugin is on Github, anyone can contribute. Fork it and make a pull request instead of calling me “irresponsible”. Then create a popular WordPress plugin and see by yourself how rewarding is to maintain a plugin in the WP world (complaining impolite emails, support questions that have nothing to do with the plugin’s scope, etc.).
