Has no click count and impressions on free edition

Contrary to the claim that the free edition “Includes impression & clicks count per each banner”, it has neither.

After inserting some banners as a widget, and in trying to find out why the stats were always 0 in the campaign management screen, I’ve found out that the JavaScript file that tracks these is not being included on the page. After manual inclusion and a little patching to provide a missing URL it required, the data was being sent alright, but still wasn’t being actually registered on the database.

Digging in the source code I’ve found that all lines that record or pull these data to/from the database are commented out (i.e. rendered inert). Uncommenting was not an option, because apparently they required extra information that the JS wasn’t supplying in the first place.

In the end, it was all a waste of time. A pity, because the rest of the plugin worked just fine.
