Has plugin been abandoned?

PHP code still works; regardless of whether the plugin has been added to. It’s passed compatibility with PHP 7.2 and works with WP in May 2018, so no reason to stop using it, unless it no longer works with your other plugins or some major change to WP.

You can test it with the BETA of Gutenberg by installing the Gutenberg beta plugin, if that is a concern.

We’ll keep using it here, or roll it into our own plugin for future use.

The ‘code’ will work as long as WP utilizes the elements being over-ridden. ??

Again, for anybody worried – it works with PHP 7.2 latest version as of May 2018.

I am still using another plugin from 2010, long abandoned, which we added a single line fix for PHP 7; still works flawlessly. (Most plugins are simple functions to over-ride something in WP which should be a built-in feature to begin with, as this one does.)

I did find a clash with Simple Share Buttons Adder https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-share-buttons-adder/

I outlined the issue, which started after their update over two months ago, in their support.

My communications with them included.

I my case it seems to be a conflict with Toggle wpautop https://en-au.www.ads-software.com/plugins/toggle-wpautop/ and your recent updates

That plugin was last updated a year ago – so perhaps it has been abandoned?

If I deactivate Toggle wpautop plugin your plugin displays correctly (with a minor margin-bottom issue – but does display horizontally)

If I check Disable wpautop on page edit, your plugin will display correctly

My Page displays as intended with Simple Share Buttons Adder version 7.3.10

They have had a number of updates since, none of which addressed the issue I raised.
