Has Served Me Well for Years

I have used this plug-in, and the pro-version, on multiple sites and have been quite happy. It has the versatility that I need. I tried other gallery plug-ins on other client sites (looking for faster load times, the only real drawback here) and the lack of useful options really put them out of the running. All-in-all the only gallery plugin I would use for most any, but the most simplest of needs, site.
