Has to be reconfigured on every update

Hi, first of all thanks for the plugin!

Every time the plugin is updated all changes dissapear and even it’s not complicated to do it again, while /product-category/ etc… are not being removed by the plugin, google and every other external links get 404’s, and I get errors, warnings, and so, as you know.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I mean, it’s the only plugin that I have used that has to be reconfigured on every update.
