Hash-Cash Error CHRONIC… please help

I’m assistant admin of the webblog:

I’ve found that more often than not, when I’m replying (commenting) to a post I get the Hash-Cash error when I hit the submit comment button.

In the past this would seem to correct itself after a few tries and the comment would post.

Now, it’s just chronic. Every attempt comes back hash-cash. I wonder how many of our posters may be experiencing similar rut. I’ve emptyied the cache on my Explorer… any other suggestions ???
