Hash Generation & File Name

So after looking into the Public Uploader, I noticed that the MD5 hash generation in the filename added by linus-neumann is causing the filename in the way I use it to give me a rather long and incorrect output on my site.

I’ve been looking into how imagedescription fields are generated, and have mimiced them to create a title field. Unfortunately for whatever reason, it’s not giving me the title I put in the box, rather giving me the same as the image alt, which is in fact the file name with the appended MD5 hash.

Can we get this plugin updated to allow for a title box as well as a description?
