hashcash causing RSS to fail

Hi all,

I just installed hashcash and have discoverd that for some reason it is causing all my RSS feeds to fail validation. It seems that when the plugin is active it is adding a single blank line to the begining of my rss feeds. I get this error when I try to validate the feeds:
line 2, column 0: XML Parsing error: <unknown>:2:0: xml declaration not at start of external entity [help]
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

The only problem seesm to be the extra white space, the single blank line at the begining of the XML. The plugin author has been unable to reproduce this, can anyone help? Thanks.
