New as of today, the “top” hashtag feed I have on my home page is displaying older images fine, but newer images are showing a default place-holder instead of the actual image. I’ve already attempted to refresh the connection (success) and refresh the Instagram cache (no errors) but neither solved the issue.

Any ideas on how to resolve? TIA.

Update – the hashtag feed stopped working entirely after I posted this, with the message, “There is no media in this feed”. I’ve reverted to a feed that pulls only my own accounts photos now.

    Hi Daniel,

Please make sure you have the latest version installed and following these instructions.

    Thank you!

Sorry, I guess I need to be more clear. I did follow those instructions and I had a working “top” hashtag feed until 2 days ago.

Now, the site is pulling the “top” posts, but the most recent posts are displaying a place-holder image instead of the actual image.

Then, later that day, it stopped working entirely.

Here is a screen shot of what I mean:

This is happening on one of my feeds as well. Thumbnail layout, all images show a placeholder image.

    Hi,

@dbruyteryahoocom Dear David, Are you still experiencing the issue? I have checked your website and did not see it.

@nic137 please provide the URL address where you have the described issue.

    Thank you in advance!

    Have a nice day!

@kimabaghdasaryan Yes, I am, when I use a hashtag feed. I reverted my home page back to just pulling my own accounts images and that works fine. See the dropbox link above for how it behaves when I pull by “top” hashtag.

    Thank you,

    Daniel

    Dear Daniel,

@dbruyteryahoocom, have you uninstalled the plugin for now? We need the exact page on which runs Instagram to see whether there are any errors in the Console or not.

    Thank you!

    This is not resolved.

I can provide a link to a stage environment, but it will require a username password to view. I don’t want to publish that information here. The issue is still occurring.

Let me know if there is a way to communicate that URL, username and password to you outside of this forum.

    Hi,

@dbruyteryahoocom please contact us using the following contact form.

Also, mention the URL of this forum topic in your message. We will provide a solution as soon as possible and share it here as well.

@nic137 Most probably, the cache in the plugin is not being cleared. Please go to Instagram Feed WD > Settings page and press Reset Cache.

Check whether the feed starts updating and let us know in case the problem persists.

    Thanks, have a nice day!

@kimabaghdasaryan clearing the plugin cache did not work for me. Unsure if @nic137 has tried it, though.

Apologies, but it’s unclear to me how to access the contact form you referenced.

    Thanks,

    Daniel
