    Hi

    I am new to WP.

I am using one of my websites to host a series of standalone landing pages that I will send traffic to direct.

I don’t want to set up a site and a menu system beyond this but I would like a page I have created to display should anyone ever enter main url.

I have created the page and published it but of course it is not visible as it is not assigned to a menu.

Is there a way to achieve this please?

    Thanks

    Lorraine

  • Greetings lorraineemmott!

Yes this is possible through a couple different avenues!

First you’ve already created your page, so the easiest option would be to go to your Admin dashboard, then “Appearance > Customize”.

From there go down to “Static Front Page” and you should be able to set your created page as the front page.

If you don’t have any menus set and get rid of everything on the sidebar, you should have most of what you are looking for.

Secondly, I would suggest looking at one of These landing page plugins that may allow you do to more of what you are hoping for!

    Best of luck!

Thanks so much Kevin – the static front page sounds like the perfect solution!

I am using Thrive Landing Pages to create the pages themselves so this takes care of the rest.

Thanks once again – you have saved me hours of trying to figure that out ??

    Best wishes

    Lorraine
