Have Google Product feed use the short description instead

    Is there a way to get the Google Feed to use your Short Description instead of the regular Description? At least with my theme the Short Description appears up top so I often use that. I know with feed rules in Merchant Center you can change a few things and I have but I can’t seem to figure out this one.

    Is this for the Google Product Feed extension or for the Google Listings & Ads?

    To 100% sure about this, you could share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

    Hi there!

    Thank you for clarifying, and sharing your System Status Report.

    As of now, there isn’t an option to select the shop description.

    There is an existing feature request regarding this topic in the ideas board though: https://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce/suggestions/43607094-option-to-select-description-short-or-standard – Please vote (optionally, comment) on the topic so that it gets more visibility. This is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.
