• When Optimizer is active it prevents product payments from being processed.

I have also used Lighthouse when it is active and found the site to run significantly slower.

    Hello @mrlandtrust,

I am sorry to hear that you experienced issues with product payments when the SG Optimizer is active. Most likely, some of the plugin optimizations and another plugin were interfering in some way.

The advantage here is that we can exclude scripts from most of the frontend optimizations and I believe that this might resolve the issue in this case.

If you need assistance doing that and you are a SiteGround customer, just contact us from your Client Area and we would gladly assist in finding the reason for the problem.

    Best regards,
    Daniela Ivanova

I had a similar problem. My contact form using WP Forms would not send mail. I hired someone to fix the problem and they determined that SG Optimizer was the problem. Sure enough, the form worked when SG Optimizer was deactivated. Then I had someone try to fix a formatting problem with the form (font size). They activated SG Optimizer and the form stopped working. I deactivated the plugin and the form worked once more. The Contact Form may be the most important part of my site, so I’m leaving SG Optimizer deactivated for now.
