  • I also am looking to do the same…

This plugin does not use your WordPress comments at all. It only utilizes the Facebook comments widget and places it on your website in place of your WordPress comments. There is no sync or connectivity between comments made on the two platforms.

Ah, thank you for the response. Would you know of any plugins tat will provide this functionality? I was using Wordbooker until it was discontinued a few days ago. It allowed a post to originate in WordPress, be posted to FB, and any comments that were made on the link in FB were pulled into the appropriate post in WordPress (self hosted).

Really hoping another plugin exists that can do this.

I don’t know of any other plugins that do specifically what you are asking. We no longer actively develop on this plugin because we have moved our comments over to using Disqus on WordPress. It will sync comments for locally storage on WP and allow for users to login and share on social if they desire. It isn’t automatic, but a very easy to use platform and simple plugin for WP to get it all working.

OK, thank you for the information, and also tank you for the quick response. I’ll check Disqus out.

Thank you – I too will check Disqus out – I can’t believe there isn’t a simple plug in that does this.
