I want to generate a popup window when someone clicks on a link on a web page. The window will contain some text. I don’t need very fancy formatting or images or timers.

I’ve installed the plugin, updated the theme, created a modal and now I’m ready to put it into play.

The documentation on the author’s website says:

Add the appropriate popmake-### class to any element. Every popup created using the editor has a unique ID and a slug.

I found the class on the All Popups page. So I added the following to my page:

    <a href="#" class="popmake-5606">Conditions of Membership</a>

When I click on the link, nothing happens. I’ve tried a button with this class and nothing happens. I’ve reached a complete dead end.

Do you have any examples of how others are “Opening a Popup”?

    Any suggestion would be welcome.

I figured it out. Apparently I had not associated the specific page with the popup on popup edit screen. I’m sure I had ticked the correct boxes but I must not have “Updated” my changes. It’s working now so I can take this baby for a bit of a spin. Sorry for making any confusion I may have caused.

Not a problem. Was gonna say sounds like you didn’t have Targeting conditions set. Looks like you found it.

Please take a moment to rate and review the plugin and or support.
