1. It’s not built in to the plugin yet, but you can set the welcome text through Facebook’s Messenger Profile API: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/reference/messenger-profile-api/greeting
2. I’m sure there’s a js trigger but unfortunately I have been able to find anybody who’s been able to do that yet.
