• Hello, I am wondering if there is any way to have the WordPress disallowed list (https://contactform7.com/comment-blacklist/) only apply to the content in the message body and not other fields? I would like to block all websites so I put “.com” in the disallowed list. However, it seems that the disallowed list also checks the email field so it blocks the whole message even if the body doesn’t have a website.

    Thanks.

No, there isn’t. In the first place, Contact Form 7’s spam protection is applied to the form submission, not to the email message.

If you want to apply your custom spam filter to a form field value, see Custom spam filtering.

Thanks for the clarification! I’ll check out the custom spam filtering.
