Have to click redirect twice since update

Hi, We have just updated to the latest version and where previously we had a simple redirect on a button which redirected automatically, now clicking the same button loads the page again and the button has to be clicked again, and then it redirects. Any ideas where the fault could be?
The theme, plugins and WP core are all at latest versions. The PHP version is 7.4
