  • Hello @amiiii

My name is Arun, thanks for installing Super Progressive Web Apps! Glad to hear SuperPWA worked well on your install ??

The “Add To Home Screen” popup is currently controlled entirely by the browser and there isn’t much we can do about it as far as I have learned.

This is not ideal as you mentioned. During my talk at WordCamp Mumbai, I had a marketer point out this: Users are less likely to install the PWA when they visit the website for the first time. They are just here and they are used to things popping-up. Ideally they should be shown then pop-up multiple times on subsequent visits.

So, to answer your question, there is no native way to do this. We are watching the technology grow and if there is a way that shows up, you can be sure that we will be the first to implement it!

During testing, you can use the menu in your browser (the three dots) and click on “Add To Home Screen” which does the same things as clicking the “Add To Home Screen” button on the popup.

Hope that helps a bit. Best regards.
