Have to login multiple times initially

    Hi! Great looking forum! I have used wordpress and visual composer to create my site and yesterday installed wpforo. The installation and customisation of settings was fairly easy and i’m very pleased with the functionality.

    However I have one problem having sent the forum url out to a friends, we are all experiencing the same problem…

    “after registering for the forum, it doesn’t automatically log you in after clicking the email link – you have to click “Log In”. And after I posted this, I had to log in again to see it”

    The second bit of this feedback, which is the same as i’m experiencing, is the most important to me, personally I have to login more than once before the menu displays that I am logged in. Also when I have registered temporary accounts in different browsers for testing the registration email always takes ages to come through.

    Could the login problem have something to do with the caching plugin?

    I am using a number of plugins…

    I am using wordpress version 5.3.2, php version 7.2.26 (Supports 64bit values), on a litespeed server if that is of any help.

    Hi @matsp,
    This is a cache issue. All cache plugins has options to exclude certain page from caching, so please remove the forum page for WP Fastest Cache. There should be an option to exclude pages by URL. wpForo has a built-in cache system for the forum part. You should not use cache plugins for forum.
    wpForo cache doesn’t make problems for wpForo. It designed to make wpForo fast and light. All cache plugins has options to exclude certain page from caching, so please remove the forum page for WP Fastest Cache.
