I don’t get what the site is about

For sure it needs some more work, and some focus. I am trying to encourage people to share their ideas and discuss different topics from a science perspective. From recent news discussions, technology releases, invention ideas etc.

looks like you have to spend some time on it.
im personly not to happy with the standard theme. Best try some other themes, and just optimize.

not that my website is any better..

I haven’t played with the template yet simply because I don’t know how to, or what to change different elements too…apparently it is a lot of css changes that i’m not too sure of.

If you want my opinion, it’s not that bad of a start ??
A simple site with a few pages might as well look even like that…
One thing that drives me crazy though, is this background, it just hurts my eyes. Ouch. ??

I hadn’t noticed that it was so distracting…now that you mention it I agree! changed it…now I need to change up the header image too.
