Having a few problems, please help!

I just installed a new theme, and I am in the process of customizing it. I have just finished up getting the colors how I like them, and everything has been going smoothly.

I have now hit a couple of roadblocks and I would appreciate it if someone would help me. Here is a list of the problems I am having.

1) First off, whenever I click on one of the pages on the right sidebar, it redirects me as expected. But, as you can see, https://ieatpeople.com/WordPress/?page_id=29 , the text jumps all the way to the left, with the left sidebar not present. Any ideas?

2) Another problem also has to do with the “pages”. Whenever I pull one up, the entire body of text turns into a clickable link that redirects you to the homepage. Again, any ideas?

3)One more, in IE the background is a solid black. In firefox, it has a black header with a grey background, and that’s how I want it to look. Does anyone know how to make it look like this in IE?

That’s all for now, but I’m sure I probably have a few more I haven’t noticed yet.
