    Hey

Thank you for creating this plugin! Nicely done!

Because the web host added changes I had to installed WP Mail SMTP on a lot of client sites. I noticed that the plugin began sending out email summaries. This should be off/disabled by default. I do not need a weekly email summary. I now have to go back into the various sites and disable the summary.

    Hi @paaljoachim

    Thanks for sharing your feedback.

We are sorry to hear that you’d prefer that the?weekly email summary?be disabled by default, though we can understand your scenario and apologize for the inconvenience.

Currently, we do not have plans to disable email summaries by default. The main reason why it is enabled by default is that WP Mail SMTP is designed to improve email sending and just to ensure that users are aware of their total email sending since WP Mail SMTP was activated, our weekly summaries give a clear indicator.

Again, we understand your scenario, and we apologize for the inconvenience, but the main workaround right now is to disable email summaries after installing WP Mail SMTP. Please note that this email should only be sent out once (per website) and we ensured that disabling this is as straightforward as possible in case users either were tracking this via alternate means or if they no longer would like to track this.

Thank you for the feedback Dake!
I understand where you are coming from and will just take the time to gradually disable each weekly email, as the client does not need these emails.
    Have a great day!
