Having issues with search not recognizing apostrophes in users names

I’m having issues with coding this properly, I have a directory that was created using ACF for Users and their profiles; the names and directory profiles show up fine but it won’t recognize a users last name O’hara with the apostrophe, their profile comes up without it. Note: the user profiles are also made into subscriber user profiles if that helps.
