Having problems using the plugin – is my WP install too old?

    I installed and activated the plug-in, but can’t use it. The add image buttons don’t open an upload window. I also click on the Custom Styles and Default Slideshow Settings tabs, but the content doesn’t load.

    I am running WP 3.4.1.

    Anyone have this experience and manage a fix? Or should I take the time to update the WP install and hope that’s the issue? I’m concerned about this because there have been a lot of fingers in this pie (flaky contractors) and I’m not sure if updating WP will kill the site. :/

  • Hi Leslie, that is a very old version of WordPress. You should really upgrade your WordPress version but before you go ahead. Make sure all your plugins and theme are compatible with WordPress 4.0.1.

    Also create a backup just in case anything goes wrong.
