having problems with moderating comments

  • im useing ocular professor and i want to be able to see comments before they are posted publicy what settings do i need to have on for this to be able to happen. thanks jon

    Thanks t-p i already did that but people can still just leave comments
    with out me having to moderate them sorry about the typo above

    @jon mellon: Have you got any plugins enabled?

    You may have a plugin enabled which is allowing them to bypass this setting.

    thanks mr peter for getting back to me im pretty new at this and have no clue as to what im doing what type of plugins should i look for that might be causeing this problem? also is there a customer sevive numeber or a number i can call for help

    i just checked i dont think it a plug in is there maybe any way to totaly reset my theme back to all default and start again

    You can reset the theme by just deleting that theme’s folder from your site (take a backup first in case you want it later) and upload a clean copy of the theme. Alternatively just disable that theme in the dashboard and select the default WordPress theme.

    Did you actually test the plugins properly to ensure that it isn’t one of them causing the problem?

    i do belive i properly checked the the plugins and its still going on
