Having Problems with the contents of a Theme

The contents on some of my posts are cut in half, it is best to see it to see what I mean;

I contacted the forum from where I received the theme and they said to update the theme and that would fix the problem, however when I updated it the problem remained.

This is what they said may be the problem;

“It sounds like your server is set up so that the permissions for the wp-content folder can not be overwritten. IE, when you try and install the theme updates the permissions says ‘no you can not write over these files’. You should contact your hosting provider and ask them to change the wp-content folder so that you can write to files/write over them from wordpress.”

So I contacted my hosting provider and they said;

“Themes are stored in the /wp-content/themes directory. You have the ability to overwrite those files using https://ftp.”

I don’t use an ftp I upload straight onto wordpress.

“Then you have to work within WordPress’ setup. If there’s a feature that allows you to do this from the Dashboard, you would need to locate the steps using it in the www.ads-software.com support forums.”

So here I am! Any ideas what I should do next?
