    Hi Opajaap,

I use WP Photo Album Plus.

I use the slideshow feature but people who view the slideshow do not understand that you need to ‘stop’ the slideshow before you can navigate with the arrows in the filmstrip below.

I need to have the functionality so that the slideshow appears in it’s stop ‘mode’ as the default but cant work this in the settings.

I know you can use the ‘album’ mode but this only shows the thumbnails which, stylistically, does not work for my site. I really like the slideshow status for the main presentation on a page.

Feedback from clients shows that they want to browse and many have said that they try and click the thumbnails in the strip below the slideshow as it is working through the images – but they dont think to stop the slideshow before doing this

    Any advice?

    Thanks
    Andy

    That’s great, many thanks.

Also, is there any way of treating individual albums differently?

Maybe there is a way of having titles under one slideshow and not on others for example?

Only the thumbnail size can be set to the alternate size.

The idea is that you can have different display types set in the shortcode/wppa-script, not based on the album. Pls read this documentation page for more details on display types.
