Verify and Log In (This text being a link)

I am getting this everytime I login with correct credentials. Is there really no other way to get around this other than enabling two factor authentication?

Yes, I enabled two-factor verification to get rid of this message, logged in with two-factor authentication and then deactivated it.

Now, this message comes back everytime I try to login into my WordPress site. This started happen because I personally entered wrong credentials multiple times to test out Wordfence. Will verification requirement go away with time?

    Hi,

That error typically pops up if you have reCAPTCHA enabled in the Login Security settings. You may want to set the “reCAPTCHA human/bot threshold score” score a bit lower, or disable it entirely – it can help prevent brute-force attempts but the standard Wordfence brute-force protection works separately and is quite effective.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Yeah I noticed that was the cause. I’ve lowered the human/bot threshold score from 1.0 to 0.9 and I don’t have this issue anymore.

    Thanks

    Hey @wallace97,

Thanks for the update, and happy to hear that adjusting the threshold has resolved the issue.

Please let us know if anything else comes up.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
