Having trouble trying to figure out how to get rid of these Link-looking icons..

  • I am having trouble trying to figure out how to get rid of these Link-looking icons at the bottom of every page on the website. They seem to be like Footer links because you can easily click on different ones and they take you to different parts of the website.

    Hi @amcdowellit,

    it looks like that is happening because you have a menu assigned to the ‘Social Menu’ location. Ordinarily this uses links to Social Media sites and icons are included automatically. But if the links are not to recognised Social Media networks – the default link icon is used.

    You can remove those icons/links by:

    • Opening the Customizer (Appearance > Customize)
    • Going to the Menus section
    • Going to ‘Locations’ (which is likely at the bottom of that panel).
    • Making sure there is no menu selected for the ‘Social menu’ location.

    Could you please try that out?
