Having Trouble with Header image (logo) in oxygen them

Hello I’m new to wordpress and haven’t done web design since my early days in college. I’m using the Oxygen theme and I’m trying to place a header banner. Instead of an image I get a small film icon. It’s extremely frustrating because it’s the one piece I can’t find a solution to. any suggestions I’ve searched forums and tried all I could find. Still on my local so I can’t post a link. Sorry, hope someone can still help.
