hCaptcha troubleshooting

    I have an issue where hCaptcha is not showing up on the form.
    It only works in the editor when editing a form I can even complete some captchas. But if I open the form on the website its not loading the hcaptcha.

    While troubleshooting I see this is the console “downloadable font: Glyph bbox was incorrect (glyph ids 48 70 77 96 97 98 99 102 103 104 105 127 134 135 138 154 174 177 179 181 193 199 200 232 233 287 288 289 290 294 296 299 305 306 307 324 325 334 336 338 341 344 345 346 347 348 349 354 362 364 366 367 368 369 372 373 376 381 382 385 386 429 446 451 459 460 473 475 479 480 498 520 523 526 529 531 532 533 535 536 553 554 561 583 589 594 595 600 601 609 611 614 617 618 631 633) (font-family: “FontAwesome” style:normal weight:400 stretch:100 src index:1) source: https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/assets/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.5.0″

    I want to disable the font to continue troubleshooting but cant see where.

    Hi,

    It appears that the font is having trouble downloading and decrypting. If you are using any caching plugin, make sure to disable it and then check again. You can also try reinstalling the Ninja Forms plugin to see if that resolves the issue.

    Integrating third-party services like hCaptcha falls outside our direct support offerings. We offer v2 and v3 reCaptcha but not hCaptcha.

    That said, the console error related to FontAwesome is a separate issue from hCaptcha not displaying correctly, but it’s wise you’re looking into all angles.

    Disabling the font for troubleshooting purposes is a logical step. This usually involves checking your website’s code to see where FontAwesome is being loaded, such as in the functions.php file, within plugins, or directly in your theme.

    The font awesome was loaded by your plugin. But I managed to disable it. It did not help, however, and I removed hCaptcha as a result. So far spam has not arrived, and the forms are sent and delivered as expected…
