HD button to the video player

  • Hi guys,

    I wondered how to add HD button to the WP video player to play high definition version of the video like many other players?

  • The Switch Video Quality Plugin uses the standard wordpress video player (mediaelement.js) and lets you use different resolution video streams. It shows an HD or 4K-Flag automatically.
    Or do you mean a simple HD on/off toggle button?

    Here I really wondered if it is complicated to add simple HD button without plugin, although Switch Video Quality works well.
