HD (high definition) youtube videos (similar post to "Higher res video")

I want the youtube video to play in HD (high definition 720p / 1080p) right off the bat, and youtube includes several different url methods to enable this, yet this plugin strips out the hd part of the url, so I cannot even get the video to play in HD. I really like this plugin, but this seems like a VERY basic and necessary feature, please implement either allowing the youtube HD url or an option we can set to play in hd if hd is available for that video.

I and many others really need this feature.
