As you can see, the header here and on all my docs pages is wrong. Is there something I need to do to fix this.

I also have installed a Better Docs Search Form on https://betterdocs.paulhacker.com/landing-for-pcc/ but it doesn’t respond to any input.

I would really like this plugin to work for me, but it’s a struggle!

  • Hello @locatino,

I hope you are doing well.

I have checked your website. That seems strange. And I assume that It could be a plugin conflict. Can you please check for plugin conflicts by following this: You can check for Plugin conflicts by deactivating all the third-party plugins one by one except for BetterDocs. Simply go to your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to WP-Admin -> Plugins and then, deactivate other Plugins.

Besides, you can switch to a different theme like Astra, Flexia or Twenty-Twenty Three. And, check back as well.

Please don’t forget to clear all the caches if you are using any caching plugin.

Let me know how it goes. Thank you!

The issue was not plugins. It was that BetterDocs doesn’t work well with FSE themes. I think this is a known issue.

    Hello @locatino,

Actually BetterDocs works fine with almost every popular WordPress themes and page builders. I assume that your theme’s header doesn’t have the support for Custom Post Types. I request you to contact with your Theme Developer, I hope you will get a good solution.

    Thank you!

I have tried several FSE themes and they all give the same result with BetterDocs. With further investigation, it is a known issue with FSE themes and how they are handling headers.

I moved to Echo Knowledge Base and that plugin does work with FSE block themes without problems. I don’t know if Better Docs ever fixed the issue between their plugin and FSE themes.

    Hi @kanchha-kaji-prajapati and @locatino ,

I understand that it’s getting late. Actually, currently, we’re working on to optimize BetterDocs and we’re middle of this. We’re prioritizing this currently.

Right after that, we’re giving a FSE support on BetterDocs don’t worry.

    Thank you for your patience!
