Thanks for creationg this great plugin functionality – I’ve been searching for something that would work with WordPress Blocks (5.*)Gallery to add links. I was excited to find your plugin, but unfortunately I’m having an issue.

I noticed that someone else had a layout issue, so hopefully it’s a quick fix! ??

When the plugin is activated, my header shows aligned left, when the plugin is deactivated, all back to normal as it should be. I deactivated all plugins I could, but am unable to do them all since it is a client’s live site. I am running up to date Generatepress theme and up to date wordpress.

I would really love for this to work without that issue, because I searched high and low on how to add links to the gallery and didn’t find anything that worked!

    I appreciate your help

    Hi,

The plugin needs to add the link around your image, so of course, a little change in the HTML markup is required ?? Normally, that is no problem, but in your case, I feel like your theme might be using a very strict CSS selector to style the header.

Do you mind sharing the page where the issue occurs? I am pretty sure I can find the selector to add in your Custom CSS and to make this work fine ?? This is actually the only way to do it.

    Hi Jordy,

I appreciate you getting back to me. I have disabled the plugin due to the issue it causes, but the page is https://stone-eagle.com

When the plugin is enabled, the top menu and the logo are aligned left, as soon as I disable it, they go back to where they should be.

As mentioned before currently your plugin is not enabled.

    Thank you

Sorry, can’t edit my post. I’d love to get the plugin up and running if possible, so your help is very much appreciated ??

    Hi,

I have looked but for me, it’s impossible to debug this like that ?? I can’t reproduce it.

If I share with you a fresh install, could you try to replicate your install at a minimum (maybe by installing the theme and try to re-create the basic parts of the front-page)? Then I will have an environment to test, and will be able to find a fix ??

You can contact me here to get that fresh install: https://meowapps.com/contact/

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I can’t install the theme on another server. This one is my client’s theme and only available for 1 install.

I know it’s difficult to debug like this, but I’m sorry I can’t re-enable your plugin on the live site due to it causing the header to align left when it should be centre.

I am not keen on my client’s choice of theme, but I am stuck with it. It is very possible that it is a theme specific problem, so don’t worry about trying to resolve it.

Thanks for your great support. ??
