Header and Footer are showing double

Hi,

I think that you might have selected the intrace template into a page. if you already have intrace as an active theme, the header and footer will automatically be added to the frontend/front view of the site. You can delete the header and footer from the editor. every page will automatically have the header and footer from the theme.

How can i remove the header and footer from being added automatically. I tried to edit it through the editor but there’s no option to do so.

To to that, you can change the template of the page. see this video for reference :

Go to Appearance > Editor > Templates > Create New Template. then, in the template editor, make sure to add a post-content block so whatever is on the page will actually be generated in the frontend, other than that you can put whatever you want. note: wherever the template is used, anything on the template will automatically shown.

and after that, go to the pages. select the page you want to add the template. select quick edit and then select the custom template you create.

If you want to remove the header and footer from every page

instead of creating a new template, you can just edit the page template that is built-in to be added to every page. Go to Appearance > Editor > Templates > Pages. there you can delete the header and footer.
