I have a problem that I hope somebody could help me with.
I use Storefront and it works fine.

However when I use header and footer created by Elementor Pro all the product pages turns into full width (they used to be the default width). The other pages continue with default width but with the first headline full width.

Unfortunately the support for Elementor Pro is the worst support I ever seen. Nobody answering the ticket I created. In their FAQ it says if soemthing like this happens it’s because of the theme. As I use Storefront I hope somebody here knows how to solve the problem?

    Cheers

    Hi @boppar

If the page looks fine with just Storefront, but breaks when you start using certain Elementor elements, it’s very likely that there is something wrong with the way the header/footer is being used in Elementor.

Do you have an example of a page where things look good, and a page where they don’t?

    Thanks for your advice.

It seems like Elementor headers/footers doesn’t work with Storefront. No answer from their support. I don’t want to use a plugin that mess up my site and with non-existent support for a payed plugin.

I’ve cancelled my purchase and will use Storefront widgets to make the header and footer to look nice.

    Problem solved.

    Hi @boppar,

    Problem solved.

That’s a simple enough solution, thanks for being flexible with that. Was there something you were wanting to accomplish with Elementor we could perhaps still try to replicate now with Storefront?

Just what I wrote in my first post.

I will stay far away from Elementor Pro. Specially because of their extremely bad support who doesn’t care to answer support tickets.

    Hi @boppar,

Just to confirm from your original post you were trying to make certain pages full width, where the sidebar was removed from the page? While other pages then did not have a sidebar?

I’m propably using the wrong terms.

I have no page with sidebars and I want no page stretching from left side to the right side.

When I used header/footer made with Elementor Pro some pages automatically turned into “full width” (?) pages with the content stretched from the very left to the very right.

    Hi @boppar,

I’m probably using the wrong terms.

That’s a-ok, we can figure out what you mean. I am assuming the issue you had with Elementor Pro was while it made the containers around your content full width, it also provided no padding or margin around your content so it literally went edge to edge in your browser.

Nonetheless, I think you’ve found your way around that with Storefront but thank you for explaining in detail what the issue was.
