Header and Image gallery

  • Hi,

    I have recently swapped to www.ads-software.com. Since I am an “rookie” i feel quite lost ??

    I have 2 questions i am confused over

    1. Header
    I would like to use an Photoshop designed logo instead of the one that comes with the theme i choose. If i simply remove the text logo and place an header image with the logo, search engines will not have an site name to index, if i have understood correctly. How do i use an image logo and still let search engines index the site name?

    2. Image gallery
    I would like to have an nice image gallery in every new post i make on my site. Does the themes include different variants of this or is this something you install separably?

  • Hello mister. While i am a rookie myself and only been doing this for 2 months maybe, i think that your question 1 can be solved with putting your banner or your logo in the same place as your text, and just hide the text, so it still will be indexed but not interupt your image.

    ex. Your website.

    You would want “your website” to go away and put your photoshopped there instead, it can be done with assigning your logo onto that spot and then hide “Your website” with a css command.

    LOL, dno if you understand but that should work.

    As for Q.2 i think a widget will fix that.
