Header and Menu Bar

  • My site came with a default logo as a header. I deleted the logo and now it just says ‘My Blog’. I would LOVE to edit this text to say my business name but I can’t find any where to do that.

    I also can’t find my menu bar. I can position the menu and designate pages to go inside the menu, but it doesn’t show up on my site.

  • Hopefully, this is not a theme from the WP repository.
    If it is, please go to the theme’s page and click the report button.
    If not, please ask for support at the theme’s support forum, as we do not support themes that are not hosted here.

    Looks like OceanWP theme. You should contact the theme author about this. I will look into it as well when I have time but the theme author may be the quickest to get it resolved.

    @nickmclamb1 she is not suggesting that. She is suggesting that you report the problem to the theme author and, if it’s a theme from the directory here, to also report the problem to theme team using the Report Theme button.

    Theme author should be able to resolve this for you and if it is a problem with the theme then they will likely work to make sure it gets fixed.

    P.S. if you report the theme to the theme review team that report will actually come through to me so no need to do that since I already know, just let theme author know and they will be about to help.

    @williampatton I’m not a paid customer so I don’t think I can ask the theme author.

    You can totally ask the theme author for support even though you have not purchased the pro theme. https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/oceanwp/ That is the link to the theme support forum for the theme you use. None of those forum posts are about the paid theme (support for pro versions is not available in the forum here but support on the free versions is).
