header BG color

I’m not sure whats going on. I changed the header class name on the header.php file and the header lost all css. I changed the name back to default. Then I found all header classes in the child css file and changed the color to white and nothing changed. GGRRRRRrr. I am sure my child theme is working because I was able to change the min-height of the header. All I need to do is remove the BG color of the header.
