Header Customization Be Member not Appearing

  • Hi , I am preparing an e-commerce website with Astra theme + woocommerce + elementor page builder.

    When I click to “Customize” of my “Home Page” or “Store”, I tried to add a Login / Member on Header Builder bar , but I can not see the related Icon as appearing on the place. I actually keep basic and just added an member icon with icon box in elementor and linked that icon to “my account” page.

    But this time , at the home page when I clicked to that icon “Register” option is not available. I can only log in with my admin details , and not showing “Register” option I have checked different devices after logged off.

    I tried also Google Hidden window , I have checked all Update version of theme and plug ins , using Lite Speed Cache.

    How can I solve this problem ?

  • Hi @ladybt,

    If you have something like this, when users hit the Account icon, they should be redirected to the Register page. Please just make sure you have configured registration is allowed on your site.

    Thank you for reply but what a disappointed experience of using Astra theme I can not find describe my feelings in a polite way.

    Why we would use Elementor page builder if we can not add any customs blocks to any page when needed ?

    Astra theme “Header Builder” still not working , so I was prepared some stylish blocks to look like Header and I used to show on Main Page. But I can not “add” that built myself “Header Blocks” to Shop Page and Single Product Page , because of a lot of Page Layout limitations of Astra theme.

    Is there a way to solve this problem ?

    And about Woocommerce Cart , I have used some Shop Icon and linked that icon to related “My Cart” page , but this time when an item added to shop basket , there is no appearing any number on that icon. This feature is so basic which is Woocommerce present us as free of charge , and Astra theme receiving from us and presenting us this feature as Pro Version.

    My another problem is , because of I can not add my custom built Header Blocks to Astra Theme Shop Page , I have created another Page using some shortcodes and styled in my way. Named that page as example “abc”. Because we should be free when we design you know what I mean. Anyway , when I have changed the Woocommerce settings to my Shop Page directed to my created “abc” page , that abc page looks like Astra Shop Page which is no header , and not possible to add any custom blocks on that page.

    Astra Team planning release any update soon ?

    Sorry for my lack, but I don’t think I get your explanation.

    1) I thought you would only have an icon added to the Header and that icon will bring you to the register page?

    2) What did you mean by Astra Header Builder is still not working? Is it not working as it should, or it doesn’t fit your needs?

    What limitation are you talking about?

    Have you tried the same thing with the default WooCommerce theme, Storefront and see the behavior on this theme?

    5) When I have changed the WooCommerce settings to my Shop Page directed to my created “abc” page, that abc page looks like Astra Shop Page which is no header, and not possible to add any custom blocks on that page.
    I am not talking about the “no header” thing, but assigning a page as the WooCommerce Shop page will make the page inherit the default layout of the theme. This is the expected behavior of WooCommerce. The layout would be different if you use a theme builder like Elementor Pro.
