• I have a header with a standard nav menu. This has a dropdown menu on one of the items, which has 4 categories. I am able to click on item 1, but not items 2-4 – only sometimes.

This is on desktop only, with the astra theme, and using theme builder with elementor. It was like this before I started using elementor though.

If I hover my mouse over options 2-4, it will just close the dropdown, essentially the same as if I moved my mouse off the options completely. It seems like a glitch where I may just have to re-make the component entirely, but I would prefer not to obviously.

  • I have checked the link you have attached and the drop down is working alright.

It’s one of those things that works alright one second, and the next it doesn’t – the most frustrating kind of problem…But it makes it impossible to click on options below the first one. Was more or less wondering if anyone would have an idea of some quicker troubleshooting steps other than rebuilding the whole thing that would be great. I’ve already done all the basic steps (resetting cache, etc) wordpress suggests.

Start a topic to request guidance from the communities most familiar with Astra theme and Elementor plugin:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/astra/

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/elementor/

Try a different theme to see if the situation continues. (Use a staging site or a tool like localwp.com)

I, too, did not have any issues with your navigation dropdown. I tried on Firefox and Chrome with different viewport sizes and everything worked.
