Header edition & doeas it free – WP theme?

  • Hello.
    1) Can I ask You, how to edit in header tis words:
    “THE WP THEME”
    “tag line goes here”.

    2) Can i use this theme realy for free, or this here present some restrictions?

    All themes and plugins in the WordPress repository are licensed via the GPL. There are no restrictions on the themes. Go forth and do as you like with this theme (and any theme). ??

    I should have added “Be sure to create and activate a child theme of this one and make those changes there.”

    If you edit the actual theme directly then when an update comes out you will lose your changes.

    Oh my God.. ?? very much steps!
    Can I simple copy/paste the parrent themewith a name “-parrenttheme” and use them?
