Header Help! Pages don’t show header content?!

    Hi, I’ve bene playing with this all day to no avail, please help!

    Everything is fine on the home page. The header shows, which is 2 images and an ad-banner.

    But when any of the other pages is clicked the images do not appear and their alt-text is displayed? Is this something to do with the image paths?

    If so please tell me which php file and section needs editing, I’m really struggling with this and I think it’s something simple I’m missing!

  • Yes, it looks like the path to your images is not quite right, if you insert the absolute url it should be all fixed. So for example find:

    <img src="wp-content/themes/uniplanet_final_mk4/images/uplogo.jpg" width="448" height="160" alt="uplogo" />

    and change it to:

    <img src="https://www.uniplanet.co.uk/wp-content/themes/uniplanet_final_mk4/images/uplogo.jpg" width="448" height="160" alt="uplogo" />

    which helped me, using the same sort of method. I changed the images URL to my domain’s main image folder and all is well!

    Instead of typing the full path use the WP functions to build it… like you have further up in your file…
    <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/uplogo.jpg" width="448" height="160" alt="uplogo" />
    The page output should end up the same as crondeau posted above..

    Again here..
    <img src="wp-content/themes/uniplanet_final_mk4/images/ukresultsbanner.jpg" alt="upad" width="475" height="70" border="0" />
    ..change to..
    <img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>images/ukresultsbanner.jpg" alt="upad" width="475" height="70" border="0" />

    .. ??
