• Hi all,

    Could anyone help me remove (or change the color to white) the gray hover highlighting that occurs on headers and buttons in storefront every time you hover over them. I cannot seem to find it in the main theme css. For reference, I uploaded a video. Btw, the animation is my addition and is not part of what I want removed. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Can you share a url? Is it this specific link you want to change, or all links?

    All links ( the header most importantly ), I’d rather not share a url if I don’t have to. The video should show all the needed info.

    Odd, all I can see on the video is the word “donate”….?

    I don’t believe the standard storefront theme has grey hover states on header and buttons, etc. Are you running a 3rd party child theme?

    The video is very zoomed in, meaning you can only see the single piece of the header. Yes, I am using the pootlepress storefront pro extension if that helps. I swore I saw that the demo sites have them too on the woocomerce site.

    whats causing the text animation when you hover? Is that part of the pro extension?

    I used this CSS code to change my NAV hover color:

    .primary-navigation ul li a:hover {
    color: #d93;
    }

    Where exactly should I paste the code?

    Hi Daltonien,

    It is almost impossible to understand your problem, because the video is not clear on what you encounter or need. Sharing your url would probably be a good starting point. You do not want to share it, but if you want help, thats the first thing to do?

    Actually I do not get why you do not want to share the url? I suppose the website is there for one reason, sharing its content wiht others?

    Please share the url so we can see the actual problem, and please give more details.

    Daltonien, of you are not using a child theme that is where you need to begin. https://www.pootlepress.com/shop/free-blank-woothemes-storefront-child-theme/

    Once you have that set up, then the code I gave you goes into the child theme CSS file.
