    I upgraded to Twenty Twelve. Is it possible to make the page header stretch out and take up the entire header section like twenty eleven? Right now it’s a smaller image over on the left side. Also, I would like to increase the site title font size and the subtitle as well.

  • If you are setting the Featured Image also uploading a new image for the first time (i.e., you are not selecting an image that exists in your media library) then there can sometimes be a bit of trouble saving the setting.

    One thing I’ve tried that works is to upload the image (as a featured image) and then click out by selecting a different image, then re-select the image you uploaded. Not perfect, but until 3.5.1 comes out this might do the trick for you.

    EDIT: Sorry, somehow this got cross-posted. Ignore the above answer; it is to a different support thread. Sorry.

    the header image should stretch automatically, if you use a 960px wide image;

    you might be referring to the featured post image which is shown in the theme’s screenshot.

    – please post a link to your site to illustrate what you mean.

    https://roundhousetalk.com is the site. It’s at the top left (indian image). That’s the format Twenty Twelve uses but I have seen others talk about it can be changed or were requesting help in doing so.

    when you upload a header image, (dahsboard – appearance – header) it says: ‘Suggested width is 960 pixels. Suggested height is 250 pixels.’

    if you use a smaller image, it will get shown as is.

    your ‘indian’ image is 547px × 142px

    try to use an image with width 960px.
