I’ve had a difficult time and was hoping someone could help me. I’m using the Twenty Ten theme.

When I go to my URL: https://www.mymagnaonline.com/ the header image and menu are centered and butted up against each other, just like I want. But when I click on anything but home, the new pages load the menu to the left and the put a space between the header image and the menu.

I tried editing the style.css #access float: left; to float: center; and that works, but then the background black color goes white and you can’t see the parent title of the pages you’re on and I get that spacing between the header image and the menu also.

Oh, I’ve tried several other edits to the style.css that I’ve found and they do indeed center the menu, but then it relocates above the header. Very frustrating.

I have put #access as was in the twenty ten theme. I don’t know how to make a child theme, but that does seem like the way to go.

    Still looking for help.

I have video tutorial on my website on how to make child theme and add templates.

If you still have questions contact me using support ticket system on my website and will be glad to help you.

If you have changed your style.css as was then there may a plugin causing the problem what are using for the slider on your header.

Hmmm. I posted a reply, but it seems not to be here.

You’re the man! It was indeed the slider (header image changer I was using) that was causing the problem. Thanks for suggesting that.

As for the video on your site, it was informative. I’m on a Mac, so I can’t run WAMP. But I will definitely take your advice and set up a child theme.

    Thanks again.

You can use live host server in video wamp is example the process is same.
